Australian artist Kirra Jamison dazzles the eye with colorful paintings filled with unexpected imagery. Jamison incorporates a lot of exciting elements in her work – decorative motif and patterning, unexpected ordinary imagery, repetition and disruption. Her latest series “Spirit is a bone” showcases more of her expressive painting style. Once again it incorporates the theme of duality: harmony and chaos, East and West, the ordinary and the bizarre, the unreal and the natural. Lovely!
