Boy, what some people can do with an x-acto knife!
Belgium-based stencil artist Kris Trappeniers, a self-described “paper sculptor,” creates ballpoint-drawn portraits, and then, by hand, carves the drawings to make intricate stencils for use on vinyl, canvas, cardboard, wood and walls. When finished Trappeniers uses spray paint upon the cut paper. Wow!

Hello, I’m a high school student in a painting class – my teacher was wondering what your method for making these cutouts was? Thank you!
