Korean sculptor Chan-girl Park works different types of metal shapes into amazing human and animal forms. Using specially cut metal sheets, like those found in three dimensional topography charts, Park layers the thin sheets, or what he calls “sliced images,” into realistic forms. Park also welds thousands of small steel nuts together creating the finely textured skin of a human or animal form.
Park’s work has appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Korea and China.
