The aspect of the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks which touches the largest number of people is probably the change in airport security procedures. Items forbidden to pass through checkpoints include: knives, scissors, cigarette lighters, razors, liquids over 4 ounces, and more. Who hasn’t had something confiscated???

Street art with extraordinary realism by M-E-S-A

I love how the street art movement is growing to incorporate more and more diverse styles of art. Here is some amazing work left on the street by Spanish artist, M-E-S-A, who favors painting large human heads. M-E-S-A’s murals are not only enormous but are very detailed realistic fine-art style portraits.
