Remember those rubberband and pegboard games from kindergarten? These thread and nail portraits work on the same concept except they’re far beyond the grade-school level. Using old family photographs, design team Pamela Campagna and Thomas Scheiderbauer of L-able spent nearly a month to create each of these pieces. I especially love the multi-tone effect created by layering different colored thread.
