Colorful tape art installations by Rebecca Ward

Brooklyn-based artist Rebecca Ward performs wonders with just a few rolls of colorful tape. Taking her cue from the existing surroundings, Ward redefines the space with parallel and interleaved stretches of bright lines. Not content to stay along the walls, Ward’s designs also venture into the open air forming their own three-dimensional shapes. The first few images in this post are of Ward’s installations in the Kate Spade flagship store in Tokyo. Ward has also had site-specific installations in several galleries around the United States.
