Design Finds: lighting made from re-purposed kitchen items

What is causing lighting designers to throw everything, but the kitchen sink, at their designs? The past week I ran across these four lighting fixtures. My favorite is (3) because I’m a sucker for dramatic cast shadows, and it can be used anywhere, from the kitchen to a formal living room.
