This video satisfies my inner child who always wanted to squish a soft pastry or egg but didn’t want to make a mess. Dutch artists Hugo de Kok and Kay van Vree made this short experimental film which explores the shapes and forms of popular foods when flattened. Delightful!
(In case you are wondering how the filmmakers flattened the food… they used a large thick sheet of glass from a salon table.)
