Maybe it’s because I’ve seen too many crime shows but… nylon pantyhose used as masks give me the creeps. Using flesh-colored stockings, Dutch artist Rosa Verloop created this piece which (I’ll admit) does send shivers up my spine but is beautifully executed. Verloop tucks and pins the highly stretchable nylon fabric to create a detailed organic creature with a very expressive face and dignified stance.
