UK based artist Bronia Sawyer colors and reshapes the book form to create these organic shapes. Using controlled lighting and photography, Sawyer explores the natural anatomy of a book by bending, folding and painting its pages and spine. Reminiscent of Rorschach’s inkblots or artfully altered x-rays, the first three images in this post are from Sawyer’s ‘Inkblot‘ series. The last two look like abstract representations of flowers. Lovely!
