Not many important things in life can be undone so when you find something special that can be reversed, record it. That’s what comes to my mind when I look at this series of photographs by artist Marc Fichou. Fichou folds a single sheet of paper into an origami animal, then reverses the process by unfolding it into a plain square. The square with the folded lines is then photographed as a backdrop for the origami object. The resulting photograph creates a visual link between the past and the present. The origin and the destination are the same. Lovely!
