This is a throwback to the my past. I remember spending hours with my sisters doing macrame: belts, chokers, wall hangings, even an owl. But we never made anything this large! New York City based Andy Harman used natural jute fiber and two solid oak beads to create this mammoth owl. It’s 35 feet long and 15 feet wide. The diameter of the rope is 1 inch. Where did he find those enormous oak beads? Maybe being a production designer working in fashion photography gives you access to far-out craft supplies.
