I always wondered how I could use translucent vellum in my work, and now artist Shannon Rankin shows how she does it in these small paper collages. Laying multiple layers of colorful paper and vellum together, Rankin creates abstract forms which appear to pop off the page. The vellum is used to build depth in the colorful shapes. Lovely!
