“Kenguland” knitwear and porcelain sculptures of kangaroos by Irene Nordli

I am intrigued by this installation which contains porcelain sculptures of kangaroos wearing knitted bodysuits.The artist, Irene Nordli, allows the knitwear as serve as a pouch which allows the baby marsupial to stay close, serving the same function as a pouch on an actual kangaroo.
