“Wolfgang Paalen: Philosopher of the Possible” at the Gallery Wendi Norris in San Francisco

Gallery Wendi Norris is currently presenting “Wolfgang Paalen: Philosopher of the Possible,” a selection of works by Wolfgang Paalen (Austrian, 1905-1959), a well-known twentieth century Surrealist. My favorite piece in the show is the image above, entitled “Nuit tropicale (Tropical Night)” painted by the artist in 1948.
